I thank you most sincerely for the excellent photograph & your very kind note.2
I am now employed on another subject & do not think that I shall continue my observations on expression; but I will not forget your obliging offer, should occasion occur.—3
I am at present far from well,4 so pray excuse brevity & believe me | yours faithfully & obliged | Ch. Darwin
